Eileen Laskowski (b. 1989 South Bend, Indiana) is a practicing artist and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she studied figure drawing at the University of Notre Dame across the street. She has exhibited in numerous community-, gallery-, and museum-based group and solo exhibitions, most notably at institutions including Saint Mary’s College; the University of Notre Dame; South Bend Museum of Art; Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art; and the C.M. Russell Museum. Her work can also be found in private collections. Laskowski was first inspired by her grandmother – who was born and raised in Dillon, Montana – to move West. She finds inspiration for her artwork in the varied stories and introspection of the women around her. Prior to devoting herself to her art full time, Laskowski was the Curator of Education at the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana and a Dave Walter Research Fellow at the Montana Historical Society in Helena. In 2024, she was awarded a Strategic Investment Grant from the Montana Arts Council in support of her art practice. She lives and works in Billings, Montana.
